Perfect Fit for Narrow Spaces
Durable and Natural Materials
Unlike synthetic alternatives, this handmade masterpiece is crafted from a premium blend of 50% Wool, 50% Cotton. This specific combination guarantees both the durability of wool and the softness of cotton, offering a long-lasting, eco-friendly addition to your living space.
A Hand-Woven Story from Malatya
Malatya, in Turkey's eastern Anatolia, has a long carpet and kilim tradition known for warm, earthy palettes and durable, hard-wearing hand-knotted wool rugs. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.
Colour & Character
The rug is built around earthy brown balanced by faded rose-pink, carrying flowing floral motifs and a gently distressed, lived-in patina across its field. Years of gentle use have softened the palette into a calm, time-worn depth that new machine-made rugs cannot imitate. It brings instant warmth to a farmhouse, cottage or transitional interior.
A Small Accent Piece
At 2'4" x 3'8", this is a generous small rug — ideal for an entryway, a bedside or layering over a larger rug. Hand-woven from natural wool on a cotton foundation, it is durable, naturally warm, and a sustainable choice.
Most of our rugs are handmade or vintage, so a little extra care keeps them looking their best for years.
- Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting, without a beater bar, to remove dust and dirt.
- Rotate your rug every few months so it wears evenly.
- Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, and avoid soaking the fibers.
- For a deeper clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool and vintage textiles.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, steam cleaners, and long direct sunlight, as these can fade colors or damage natural fibers.
Small irregularities in weave or color are part of what makes a handmade rug unique — they're not flaws.
