Malatya, in Turkey's eastern Anatolia, has a long carpet and kilim tradition known for warm, earthy palettes and durable, hard-wearing hand-knotted wool rugs. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.

The rug is built around earthy brown balanced by warm, neutral beige, carrying flowing floral motifs across its field.
