Malatya, in Turkey's eastern Anatolia, has a long carpet and kilim tradition known for warm, earthy palettes and durable, hard-wearing hand-knotted wool rugs. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.

The rug is built around earthy brown balanced by deep, glowing red, carrying balanced geometric forms across its field. Years of gentle use have softened the palette into a calm, time-worn depth that new machine-made rugs cannot imitate. It brings instant warmth to a bohemian, eclectic or globally-inspired interior.

We offer easy, no-questions-asked returns within 30 days of delivery, for items that are unused and in their original condition. Custom orders, sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for return.
