A Hand-Woven Story from Niğde

Niğde, on the Central Anatolian plateau, holds a long kilim and carpet tradition shaped by highland communities who wove geometric, talismanic patterns into hard-wearing wool rugs. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.

The rug is built around burnt-orange balanced by warm, neutral beige, carrying balanced geometric forms across its field.
