A Hand-Woven Story from Van

Van, high in Turkey's eastern highlands, has a centuries-old weaving culture famous for durable, densely knotted rugs and bold motifs drawn from Anatolian tribal tradition. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.
