A Hand-Woven Story from Malatya

Malatya, in Turkey's eastern Anatolia, has a long carpet and kilim tradition known for warm, earthy palettes and durable, hard-wearing hand-knotted wool rugs. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.

The rug is built around warm, neutral beige, carrying balanced geometric forms across its field. Years of gentle use have softened the palette into a calm, time-worn depth that new machine-made rugs cannot imitate. It brings instant warmth to a farmhouse, cottage or transitional interior.

At 6'6" x 10'3", this is a generous runner — ideal for hallways, kitchens, entryways and any long, narrow space. Hand-woven from natural wool on a cotton foundation, it is durable, naturally warm, and a sustainable choice.

Most of our rugs are handmade or vintage, so a little extra care keeps them looking their best for years.

  • Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting, without a beater bar, to remove dust and dirt.
  • Rotate your rug every few months so it wears evenly.
  • Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, and avoid soaking the fibers.
  • For a deeper clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool and vintage textiles.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, steam cleaners, and long direct sunlight, as these can fade colors or damage natural fibers.

Small irregularities in weave or color are part of what makes a handmade rug unique — they're not flaws.

Shipping

All orders are shipped via FedEx. Shipping is complimentary on all orders of $200 USD or more; for orders below this amount, shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the order’s weight and destination.

Orders are delivered within an average of 5 days. A tracking number will be shared by email as soon as your order has been dispatched.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unused and in their original condition. Custom orders, sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

Should an item arrive incorrect or damaged, we will cover the cost of return shipping. In all other cases, shipping costs are non-refundable.
