A Hand-Woven Story from Kayseri

Kayseri has a long and celebrated carpet-weaving history, traditionally known for finely detailed patterns and a refined approach to hand-knotting. This one-of-a-kind vintage rug was knotted by hand in this tradition, then carefully restored in our workshop so it can begin a second life in your home. No two pieces are alike — the small irregularities in its weave are the honest signature of the hands that made it.

Colour & Character

The rug is built around warm, neutral beige balanced by deep, glowing red, carrying balanced geometric forms across its field. Years of gentle use have softened the palette into a calm, time-worn depth that new machine-made rugs cannot imitate. It brings instant warmth to a bohemian, eclectic or globally-inspired interior.

Sized to Anchor the Room

At 6'5" x 9'4", this is a generous area rug — ideal for a living-room seating group, a dining space, or layering in a bedroom. Hand-woven from natural wool on a cotton foundation, it is durable, naturally warm, and a sustainable choice.

Most of our rugs are handmade or vintage, so a little extra care keeps them looking their best for years.

  • Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting, without a beater bar, to remove dust and dirt.
  • Rotate your rug every few months so it wears evenly.
  • Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, and avoid soaking the fibers.
  • For a deeper clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool and vintage textiles.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, steam cleaners, and long direct sunlight, as these can fade colors or damage natural fibers.

Small irregularities in weave or color are part of what makes a handmade rug unique — they're not flaws.

We offer easy, no-questions-asked returns within 30 days of delivery, for items that are unused and in their original condition. Custom orders, sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

If the mistake is ours — wrong or damaged item — we cover the return shipping. Otherwise, shipping costs are non-refundable.
