Our shaggy wool rugs are handwoven by master artisans, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort. Made with 95% wool and 5% cotton, they deliver the warmth, durability, and softness of wool with the lightness and easy-care benefits of cotton.
With their high pile texture, these rugs are luxuriously thick and soft—perfect for creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere in any room. At 2.5kg per square meter, their dense structure ensures long-lasting durability, stability, and a premium feel underfoot.
Most of our rugs are handmade or vintage, so a little extra care keeps them looking their best for years.
Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting, without a beater bar, to remove dust and dirt.
Rotate your rug every few months so it wears evenly.
Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth — never rub, and avoid soaking the fibers.
For a deeper clean, we recommend a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool and vintage textiles.
Avoid harsh chemicals, steam cleaners, and long direct sunlight, as these can fade colors or damage natural fibers.
Small irregularities in weave or color are part of what makes a handmade rug unique — they're not flaws.
